The first official match in Argentina took place in 1879, where the sport of polo was introduced at Shennan's Estancia and soon grew to become the best played polo in the world.

133 years later it is still in Argentina, where the best polo is played and where the FLORENTINA POLO TEAM was founded to promote the game and the FLORENTINA POLO brand.
